DIGI PASSPORT
Digi Passport is the latest product for the console management line of Digi. It provides safe remote access or dial-up connection for the console port of the computer system and the Ethernet network equipment. Digi Passport fundamentally provides Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) and it enables virtual communication with all servers or devices. With freeKVM, Digi Passport provides network based graphic access to the server, which provides single interface for managing the system remotely and for operating the desktop application without the complexity and cost of traditional KVM on IP solution.

It is an outstanding alarm function that helps the administrator to monitor and solve problems related to equipment. It is an e-mail/beeper alarm and SNMP trap that operates in the case when immediate action is required.
The SSHv2, SSL/TLS, RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP and Active Directory for safe connection as well as Kerberos for centralized certification
Improved auditing and logging capabilities supplement regulatory compliance motion. (For example, Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA). For the existing serial-based applications, the RealPort® driver that is patented by Digi, provides reliable transfer of network based management.
It features flexible composition and management using a simple web-based graphic interface, multi-level menu or command line. The Digi Passport not only enables “Advance Discovery Protocol” on networks but also manages devices that have been monitored and includes an automated developing tool that incorporates Automatic Device Recognition, which enables OS version self-automation composition.
