DSU
Ethernet DSU which is a DSU which can transmit synchronous and asynchronous data of 2.4K, 4.8K, 9.6K, 19.2K, 56K, 57.6K, 64Kbps with four-wire full duplex is equipped with a synchronous and asynchronous converter, so it can send and receive not only synchronous data but also asynchronous serial data of 2.4Kbps ~ 64Kbps and operates as a DCE. As BR-DSU153 has various loopback (LLB, DLB, RDLB, TTD) functions and a function to remotely control DSU, it can be easily maintained and repaired. Shelf-type DSUs change standalone-type DSUs to cards and can expand to 16 lines per shelf. In addition, Ethernet DSUs can be easily raise effi ciency and expandability of equipment use because RJ-45(Ethernet) ports are added, besides RS-232C, V.35, and terminal blocks of the existing DSUs.
