BR-DSU153 which is a DSU which can transmit synchronous and asynchronous data of 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 56000 and 64000 bps with four-wire full duplex is equipped with a synchronous and asynchronous converter, so it can send and receive not only synchronous data but also asynchronous serial data of 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 56000, 57600 and 64000 bps and operates as a DCE. As BR-DSU153 has various loopback (LLB, DLB and RDLB, TPG) functions and a function to remotely control DSU, it can be easily maintained and repaired. Shelf-type DSUs change standalone-type DSUs to cards and can expand to 16 lines per shelf. In addition, BR-DSU153 has high expandability of DTE interface and is highly compatible with other equipment.
